Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas every one!
I haven't been taking any pictures these days. The reason? Again, it's too cold here, and there's not much excitement in this town...
Hopefully it's not too late to present my holiday blessing to everyone.

That Birthday Dinner

Yesterday, actually it's the day before yesterday since it's already over midnight, I was invited to 2 of my friends birthday dinner. Their birthdays are very close to each other, so they decided to celebrate it together. It was my first time to attend either of their birthday event ever, and this might be the last time as we are all graduating and going to different direction of future. Today we chatting and laughing with the same table, and tomorrow we might walking on different continent of earth... (more below)

After many experiences of my friends leaving from me and I leaving from my friends, I'm somehow used to this kind of experience that you seperate from the people with whom you have become friends. There's a Chinese ancient quote that is "There's no party without an ending", It sounds awkward, but the meaing is it will always come to a day that you have to say good bye with some one you care about. When people leave, the best thing for me to do is say good bye to them and wish them do well in their future, and then I turn back and keep walking my own way. However I will cherish all the good memories that we create together. Of course photography is a good way to keep that memory colorful...

More Snow

The snow here now is getting ready for Christmas.
Today I had a coffee with friends after a nice and relaxing sauna. It is so good to watch the snow falling while drinking coffee in a warm coffee shop. But unfortunately I did not bring my camera with me...I seriously need a small camera that I can carry with me all the time. My Nokia N95 just can't do the job when it comes to the need of capturing a moment. The good news is a Lumix LX3 I just ordered will arrive in several days, and that will be just in time as my Christmas present I guess.

Oh it's freeeeezing!

Today it's -14 'C, and it is freezing!! I can't imagine how my friends are living in their place with -25'C degree!! Although I like snow, I don't like cold!! If it is too cold, I don't want to go out. Then there will be so limited things to take picture of... This picture is taken from the balcony.

Finally, snow!

There was first snow here few weeks ago, but that snow melted the next day completely. Today, there is the real heavy snow. Things around are covered in white. Although I don't like cold, it is nice to have snow when it is X'MAS

I went to gym as usual. The gym has been decorated for the coming X'MAS. To me, X'MAS has always been a romantic holiday, and for some reason, I think it should be a holiday to be with your loved one. However, I don't have a person that can spend this time together T_T.. In fact, for western people, this is a holiday to celebrate with family, just like Chinese Spring Festival.
