Sunset at sea

I always thought that Vancouver is a city beside the sea, therefore I expected that I should be able to view the endless ocean from Vancouver. But in fact, the endless sea can't be viewed here because of the islands outside Vancouver. Here is an example of the sea I can see from Stanley Park, Vancouver.

I guess to view the endless sea, I need to go to the very west of the Vancouver Island.
Maybe I should go there this summer~~

Figure photography Day 1

I always wanted to shoot anime figures because they are very well designed and created with emotion and attitude, but I do not own any and I am not a fan to buy a lot of them. Luckily a friend of mine Sasarai is a big fan of anime and he owns quite a lot of anime figures, so we brought some and took some photographs with them.
I am not so used to shoot small figures as they are like micro photography that requires strict DoF control. Also it is very hard to frame the figure that interact with the surrounding.
We plan to keep doing this and practise photography figures. It is really fun!~ We call this activity Project Figto lol~

P.S. I m not sure whether I should upload all of those pictures in this blog because it seems altering the topic from photography to anime, so I will just upload a few and see how things work out.
