Michael, Rest In Peace~~
Michael Jackson's unexpected passing away has been probably the biggest news for these few days. You can see his related information almost everywhere.
In LA there have been thousands of his fans gathering for his memorial event. In Vancouver here, I also found a relatively small memorial event at the UBC gallery.
I was a big fan of him when I was in elementary school. I feel sad when hearing that he passed away.
Although he has done something against ethic and law, his contribution to the pop culture is tremendous.
May his soul rest in peace!

Street Photography Fun
So I took a walk along downtown Vancouver the day before yesterday to do some street photography.
After viewing so many others' street shots, I've fallen in love with street photography. The unpredicted excitement of people's action are what make it fun. However I am so new to this, and I am quite nervous to shoot strangers walking by me. I guess I just need more practice to get rid of my shyness.
As I can expect, there isn't anything really impressive, but those are ones I think are relatively better than the others.

Lake Sunset
I did not have so much friends after moving to Vancouver, but then after several dine-out opportunities, I have made some new friends. Then they also bring their friends together, so this network start expanding, which is good for me.
Anyway, that day, with some of the new friends, after we had dinner, we decided to have a walk at Deer Lake park, I have heard it, but that was the first time I went there. It was quite beautiful, and we were lucky that by the sunset, there were some sunlight coming through the cloudy sky.

Sky Blue
Ever since I got my LX3, it becomes my new pet. Unlike 5D's sophisticated design and powerful ability, LX3 is small with limited functions. However I am able to bring it everyday with me and take picture at ease. This gives me more freedom and pleasure of taking picture rather than "using the device".
I have more time to really glance the blue sky and take the shot with a smile on my face : )

Summer Green!
Sumer is my favorite seaon. I think it's because my birthday is before when summer is about to come. I like blue sky with cloud, and green trees with various colors of flowers everywhere.
